🪷 Sri Vidya
The Supreme Shakta Tradition
Sri Vidya is considered the highest form of Shakta worship. It revolves around the worship of Tripura Sundari — the most beautiful in the three worlds — using the Sri Chakra Yantra, a complex geometric diagram representing the cosmos and the human body. It is a complete spiritual path encompassing jnana (knowledge), bhakti (devotion), and tantra (ritual).

Sri Chakra (Nava Avarana)
The Sri Yantra has 9 Avaranas (enclosures), each with specific deities, mantras, and mudras. The central Bindu is Lalita Devi herself. Moving from the outer square inward through the 9 levels represents the journey of consciousness back to its source. The Sri Chakra contains 43 triangles in total — formed by 9 interlocking triangles (5 downward Shakti + 4 upward Shiva).
