Practical Information

Dress Code

Warm layers (fleece, windproof jacket) essential. Traditional attire inside temples. No leather items near Shivalinga.

Accommodation

GMVN bungalows at most bases. Simple dharamshalas at higher altitudes. Pack a tent for Rudranath. Very limited options -- book early.

Most Pancha Kedar require 3-24km treks. Horses and dolis (palanquins) available at Kedarnath.
