Dress Code

Traditional Indian attire strongly recommended. No leather items (belt, shoes) near the deity. Warm layers essential for Himalayan altitude.

GMVN (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam) has tourist bungalows at each Dham. Also private dharamshalas and hotels. Book 2-3 months ahead for peak season (May-June).
